Operating globally under its brand slogan "life is for fun", MINISO has successfully entered 100 countries and regions and opened more than 5,000 stores around the world, covering the core business districts of world-renowned cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Dubai, Sydney, and Istanbul.

MINISO is a fast moving brand rapidly expanding their retail presence in the UK, with stores spanning the country from Gateshead to Brighton, they have a goal of taking the total number of stores to 50 in the UK by 2024.

MINISO Partners With Retail Pro And Pinnaca

Before opening their first store in Ealing, London in 2019, MINISO partnered with Retail Pro, choosing Retail Pro Prism, a point of sale, scalable comprehensive software package to deliver a fantastic customer purchasing experience. Next MINISO began the search for an IT partner with proven expertise and success in the retail sector.

Recommended by Retail Pro and with a strong industry reputation, extensive experience working with fast growing brands and the ability to deliver and scale, Pinnaca offered the perfect solution for MINISO.

Following an initial scoping consultation, we were able to advise and plan all IT requirements before project managing the procurement and installation of the necessary technology and hardware. Crucial to the success of this project was our ability to develop excellent relationships with onsite construction teams and all MINISO departments.

From point of sales systems to handheld stock checkers, tills to back office administration, our project management team overcame hurdles, provided solutions and delivered the brief within tight timescales. With an agreement to provide ongoing support, the MINISO and Pinnaca partnership was formed.

Rapidly expanding across the UK, in the last three years we have worked as a technology partner to project manage all IT requirements in 17 new MINISO stores and are on track to work together on taking that total to 50 by 2024. This can mean working on multiple stores at once, and our unique agile approach to managing projects with precision means we can keep up the pace required to get the job done.

A standout advantage of this collaborative partnership is that we now follow a tried and tested process for each new store, enabling us to react fast on short lead times, taking a store from an empty shell to fully equipped in a matter of weeks.

MINISO Head Office IT Set Up & Support

Following from the success of managing new store openings, MINISO reached out to Pinnaca to help them set up and support their London based head office. We took on the project without hesitation and employed our IT project management skills to incorporate the necessary IT infrastructure including hardware, internet and phone systems.

From the beginning of the journey to now, we have supported MINISO at every step. Providing ongoing Managed IT Support to all stores and their head office, we apply our proven proactive approach to ensure any potential issues are resolved fast by our super responsive IT support team. The quarterly IT health check identifies areas of improvement relating to software, warranties, security issues or hardware, ensuring potential problems are spotted before they arise.

Our ability to scale up to match our clients’ needs and our slick, precise internal processes sets us apart from other IT support companies.
